History: In 1916, the coastlines of New Jersey were about to get a major setback for summer beach business. A juvenile great white has been patrolling the area, killing and eating anyone who comes too close. Even worse, there are sightings of the same shark lurking somewhere in fresh water as well. For almost two weeks, this shark will teach folks to never trust any body of water...

Final Fate: Eventually, a small crew of shark hunters manage to confront the beast in the open ocean. Rather than get their ship sunk and kill the thing with explosive barrels, the harrowing capture ends with the shark entrapped in netting and captured by the hunters. It is hung like a trophy, and the terror ends.

Weakness: Anything conventional.
Scariness Factor: 3-The fact that this shark actually did most of the things we see, as well as some alright animatronics, make this young shark a rather unwelcome sight in the water. Then again, the CGI used is nothing to write home about, and its lack of size puts it behind other cinema sharks. Still, imagine if it were allowed to grow more...
Trivia: -The actual 1916 shark attacks of New Jersey are a subject of debate when it comes to the actual perpetrator. Some say it was indeed a young great white, while others believe it was actually a bull shark. For all we know, it could have been both.
-Before these infamous attacks, scientific knowledge about sharks was rather pathetic, and mostly based on speculation. But while the attacks promoted a greater understanding of their behaviors, it also had an unfortunate side-effect of driving many to hunt more sharks than ever in an attempt to curb anything that might tank the beach economy.
